Who we are

BZS Brazilian Zouk Switzerland

The BZS association is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of Brazilian Zouk and Lambada in Zurich and throughout Switzerland. Our aim is to enrich and strengthen the dance culture by supporting cultural activities and events both internally and in cooperation with external partners. We work closely with local dance schools to promote the exchange and development of these fascinating dances.

Promotion of dance culture:
Brazilian Zouk and Lambada in particular, to spread the diversity and beauty of these dances.
Organization of community events:
parties, weekenders, workshops, festivals and shows to strengthen the community and celebrate dance.
Spreading the dance to the public:
Through various events and initiatives to get more people interested in Brazilian Zouk and Lambada.
Providing a neutral platform for exchange:
A central source of information for all dance enthusiasts that promotes cohesion and collaboration.
Conflict management:
An ombudsman’s office to assist with conflicts to ensure respect and harmonious coexistence.
Cohesion and cooperation:
Promoting exchange and community to create a strong network.

Mutual respect and appreciation are the basis of our work.
Openness:
Promoting further development and diversity in order to always be open to new ideas.

Our goal

To promote and spread Brazilian Zouk & Lambada in Zurich and Switzerland and to provide a constant dance program. To offer a platform for exchange and networking within the community, as well as an up-to-date event calendar.

Our mission

We support cultural activities and events as far as we can, both within the association and by external parties. We also maintain an exchange with local dance schools for Brazilian Zouk and Lambada.
